39 Weeks!

7 MORE DAYS! ONE WEEK LEFT!

Because I'm sure he's probably going to wait until we force him out, but hey, the longer he bakes, the healthier and more developed he will be! 

I get more and more excited as each day goes by! We have our LAST doctor's appointment tomorrow, and then it's GO TIME next Friday! We've preregistered at the hospital, have our Birth Plan ready, and though we haven't quite yet packed our bags (because what's the point if he's just going to wait it out), we have a list of everything we're bringing in case things DO decide to happen early.

I haven't had any extreme contractions, but he NEVER stops moving and has taken to kicking every organ he can get his feet on (kidney, liver, spleen, etc.). According to our last ultrasound, he's pretty much stuck in the birth canal, so he's probably just showing out at this point, haha!

Our little man (well, watermelons aren't really that little) is able to flex his limbs at this point, and his fingernails probably extend past his fingertips (which I can rightly feel). He's fully-developed and ready to go, but his brain is still rapidly developing, and he gets smarter and smarter by the day! So, keep baking as long as you can, sweet boy!

We're so excited to finally meet you Baby Chayton and to finally have you in our arms!
